Family Justice

We offer specialist psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention work to local authorities and families involved with family court or in PLO. Dr Parker has formal training in the assessment of parent-child relationships and in the use of Story Stem Assessment with school-aged children, enabling nuanced understanding of attachment, family relationships, and children's internal world. Her expert witness assessment work is undertaken through the Psychology Clinic of East Anglia, where she provides independent psychological assessments in complex family proceedings. Dr Parker's approach combines clinical expertise, evidence-based practice, and a clear understanding of the legal framework to support robust, child-centred decision-making. In addition to her clinical and expert witness work, she has contributed to research and publications in the areas of safeguarding, diversity and inclusion, and the experiences of young people and carers in family contact settings
